Brand and editorial work for the YMCA in the Chicago metropolitan area. I built annual impact reports, a neighborhood needs assessment, summer meal and program campaigns, and the identity for early-childhood and after-school programs. All projects had to follow the extremely detailed brand guidelines of YMCA USA.
Designed and laid out the annual impact report for 2023. The YMCA provided photography and guidance on content. I worked within the brand guidelines to create a design that felt fresh and different from previous years.
Survey data and neighborhood interviews turned into a document the YMCA could use to showcase it's impact on the Humboldt Park community of Chicago. This was used to lobby for higher federal grants to improve programming and facilities of the YMCA in the Soutside neighborhoods.
A summer campaign for free meals and programming. The program was advertised on social and OOO in restaurants. I created sell sheets that the YMCA used to get sponsors and restarants into the program.

YMCA's Camp Duncan needed apparel designs for the summer of '26. The shirts are used for campers, staff, and for sale at the cap stores. All designs mantain the YMCA brand colors and Camp Duncan brand palette.

Identity and a recruitment flyer for SEEDS, the Y's early-childhood program. The identity needed to look preschool, but speak to parents in a trustworthy way. The logo landed on 'growth in education' as the concept.
This identity did not live in the YMCA ecosystem and was it's own program developed through the YMCA for the DuPage county school district.

The offerings packet families get when they're deciding where their kid goes at 7am and 3pm. Design followed the YMCA brand guidelines with a new approach to photography treatment. The creative direction was applied to several other YMCA programming guides.
